Hey look, another update and not even a month later! Well if Bliz could keep their fucking servers up I wouldn’t have time for this, so they are to blame either way.

Let me explain something about PvP that a lot of people don’t want to consider; that in the end,  someone has to die.

Now, I know it’s hard to grasp, but that person may have to be YOU once in a while. I know, I know, how could such a terrible thing happen to you, I mean you have the best gear, a max level character, hell you may even be a shaman, but still you may end up dying.

But apparently, some people think that should not be dying, and as such have screamed like red-faced babies until other classes get nerfed, and of course Blizzard has been gracious enough to accommodate them. I guess we should all just fucking roll up rogues.

 

 

 

Leveling up your pants.

Sounds stupid right? Well, it is. In DAoC they introduced artifact items that had to gain exp in order to become useful. So lets say you find an artifact sword, we’ll call it the Timewaster of Nebulous Content. You get the artifact and it’s level zero, and as you gain exp the item also gains exp. Slowly. And even that wasn't tooo bad, except some items could only gain exp from killing certain monsters, players from other realms, or during certain times of the day or night, or a combination of those.   After realizing I was spending more time leveling up my pants then anything else I hit the cancel button.

Blizzards Peer-to-Peer Patcher

P2P is awesome for stealing 4 minute songs from other like minded thieves, but for downloading a 60 meg patch that a few hundred thousand folks are all   downloading at the same time is lunacy. It doesn’t fucking work you morons, stop wiping your ass with 100 dollar bills and give us patch servers.      Jerks.

Losing Levels

As soon as I saw the Level Down animation in FFXI I knew I wasn’t long for this game. Nothing is worse then having all your gear pop off because he stupid warrior decided to pull while the healer was resting mana.

Hell Levels

My friend played EQ with the same fever that I was playing UO. However as I continued to develop my character would ask how he was doing, and he would get stuck for weeks at the same level while I was busy GMing multiple skills. That alone frightened me enough to keep me from buying EQ. That and Lum.
